The Superlative Score is a health check of your live website, scored out of 100. We test it from South Africa, the way a visitor's browser sees your site.
What we check
- Website loads over HTTPS without an error
- SSL certificate is valid and not about to expire
- HTTP to HTTPS: visitors typing http:// are sent to the secure address
- Security headers that browsers use to protect your visitors
- Server response time
- SPF and DMARC email records that stop people faking email from your domain
- Domain renewal, where the registry publishes the expiry date
If a check cannot be measured for your domain, it is left out of the score rather than guessed.
Improving your score
Your service page lists the fixes that add the most points first. Many are small DNS or configuration changes. Open a support ticket if you would like help with any of them.
